How editable is a PDF converted to Word?+
The text itself always comes through correctly. What doesn’t survive well: tables, colored/shaded boxes, and multi-column layouts — those get rebuilt as individually positioned text pieces rather than a real table or paragraph, since that’s fundamentally how PDF stores a page. Plain reports and letters convert cleanly; heavily designed documents will need reformatting afterward. If you only need the words (not the formatting), Word/PDF to Text is the cleaner choice.
